What services are available?
The Widening Participation Liaison at the University Library is currently Tom Woodman.聽 You can contact聽Tom for any information you need, general queries or to arrange training.
A typical library聽visit for a Widening Participation group will consist of an introduction to the library and how to find books and journals, followed by a short tour of the Library building.聽 Students can then spend time using our聽dedicated catalogue terminals to find information to support their work.
We also offer Independent Learning and Library Skills support through group visits. Students undertaking A-level projects, Extended聽Project Qualification (EPQ) or International Baccalaureate (IB) can聽supplement their research through access to our printed resources.聽 For further details about school visits please visit the school and college visits webpages.
