We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer (Integrations) to join the 麻豆社’s Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) department. This role sits within the HR & Finance Systems team and focuses on the development, support, and continuous improvement of integrations across key University platforms, including the Agresso Finance system, HR systems, and other enterprise applications.

Working as part of a collaborative agile team, you will support system-to-system integrations using various integration platforms, helping to ensure integrations are secure, reliable, and effectively maintained within a live operational environment.

About You

You are comfortable working across back-end systems and integrations, and you understand how strong technical foundations, good documentation, and collaboration contribute to long-term service stability. 

You are motivated by solving real-world problems and enjoy working in an environment where your work has meaningful organisational impact.

You will bring:

  • A solid understanding of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
  • Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, data transformation, and integration patterns
  • A good understanding of SQL or equivalent data query languages, with experience of Oracle, MS SQL Server, or MySQL
  • Experience working with Finance, HR, or enterprise business systems, such as Agresso or similar platforms
  • Experience with integration and back-end development, including MuleSoft or similar platforms, along with integration and unit testing
  • Experience using Git and established Git workflows
  • Experience working in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and defining user stories or requirements
  • A collaborative and professional approach, with the ability to work effectively alongside developers, analysts, and other technical specialists

Flexibility is required during peak periods (June–September), including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

About the role

For example, you’ll help respond to Subject Access Requests, review Data Protection Impact Assessments, conduct breach analyses and respond to queries. You will also support the Data Protection Officer in responding to data protection incidents and ensure that our practices protect our community and uphold the University’s reputation.

Your communication skills will enable you to engage and advise colleagues on sensitive or high-risk issues relating to the Data Protection Act and UK GDPR. You will work well independently but also as part of the wider Information Governance team.

Are you ready for the challenge of obtaining and managing electronic and physical books from a range of suppliers, for the benefit of our university community? You will help build the Library’s growing collection of over 765,000 print books and ebooks and online/print journal and database subscriptions. You will also be working directly with our users, supporting them to make the most of the University’s Copy and Print services. We’ll help you to develop your skills in a friendly working environment, with great colleagues.

About the role

This Senior Library Assistant role within the Acquisitions and Copy and Print is a varied one, working within the teams to achieve the smooth and efficient provision of library resources. You will be involved with searching and ordering items, invoicing and processing resources for end use. You will also be troubleshooting access issues, collecting data to inform purchasing decisions, and you will be integral in the acquisition of reading list material, working with the Library’s Reading List system. Finally, you will work with other team members to ensure the provision of a first-rate Copy and Print service to all users; underpinned by an excellent customer-focused approach.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in an involved library role on a permanent part-time basis, and should appeal to many with its short day semester-only structure.

About you

You will be a reliable and committed team worker, ideally experienced in library work. You will have:

  • Excellent IT skills

This role will be supporting the University’s CLEAR (Cloud-Enabling and Agresso Re-platforming) project which is a key University Strategic Project due to be delivered in February 2027.  The CLEAR project aims:

  • To ensure a fit for purpose, supported finance system with supplier Unit4
  • Reimagine how we use a finance system to optimise functionality (adopt not adapt)
  • Put in place the technology foundations to enable a finance system and other systems to migrate to the cloud
  •  Align with the University's Data & Insight reporting strategy of obtaining operational reporting from core systems.

The Digital Training Officer (Systems Implementation) will support the HR Lead (Strategic Change & Projects) to ensure staff and students are trained on the new Unit4 system in preparation for go live in February 2027. This role focuses on working with key stakeholders in the project to plan, create, co-ordinate and deliver clear and engaging training materials for diverse groups to help upskill/train staff in the new system.  

The post holder will be involved in activities such as:

  • Supporting the production, co-ordination and delivery of training for a Strategic Finance ERP project
  • Translate requirements into accessible learning resources
  • Working closely with subject matter experts, in Finance and Procurement to design and create appropriate training packages for staff - mainly for online and on demand training materials
  • Deliver clear and engaging training materials for diverse groups to help upskill/train staff in the new Finance system (Unit4)
  • Schedule training sessions and gather feedback to enable continuous improvement

The post holder will have:

  • Experience of scripting, recording and editing training packages using applications such as Clipchamp or CapCut
  • Experience of co-ordinating and implementing training for a new system across a large and diverse organisation
  • Experience of supporting and delivering training to upskill a diverse group of stakeholders for an ERP system implementation

This role is responsible for the administration of undergraduate funding awards which include the 麻豆社 Bursary, Gold Scholarship Programme and other philanthropic scholarships. You will be the lead administrator for all funding schemes and provides guidance and advice to applicants and current students.

The role requires significant technical skill in relation to the administration and continuing development of the University’s Fund Manager system as well as other parts of the student records database, in relation to student funding. The ability to liaise professionally with a wide variety of people is also essential, together with the ability to understand and interpret complex legislation and financial award frameworks.

As part of our reporting requirements to the Office for Students, you will lead on the evaluation, analysis and reporting of under-represented students supported by our bursary and scholarship awards. 

You will work independently and collaboratively as a part of the Scholarships and Bursaries Team to ensure outcomes and objectives are met in line with our Access and Participation Plan.

The seeks an experienced and successful project manager to co-ordinate and manage its programme of works. This £2M, 44-month programme, which is in its third year, has been funded by for the development of Research Technical Professionals (RTPs) across the Universities of 麻豆社, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter (). This innovative programme goes beyond a simple staff development programme, focussing specifically interaction with industry partners, delivering bespoke training events, whilst also testing a model to establish a cohort of trainee RTPs across GW4.

You will work within an enthusiastic (and excited) team, and be key to coordinating this ambitious regional programme, with stakeholders including 10+ industry partners, other national research alliances, research funders and ~200 regional RTPs. You will be an experienced and demonstrably successful project or programme manager. A can-do attitude, with a dynamic and pragmatic approach to record keeping, project administration, and enabling outcomes (both yours and others) is essential, and we look forward to hearing from you.

  • You will have a degree or postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience and qualifications, demonstrating the ability to work in an intellectually intensive people-orientated transdisciplinary environment

About the role

Professional doctorate programmes allow experienced professionals to develop their expertise and study for a doctorate without having to take a full career break. They are part-time distance learning programmes, with students attending the 麻豆社 for short term blocks of teaching.  

You will be responsible for the direct line management of two Doctoral Programmes Administrators, and for overseeing the effective administration of all administrative processes associated with the three professional doctorate programmes in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences (EdD, DHealth, DPRP).

You will have specific responsibility for the administration of one professional doctorate programme. Working with the academic Director of Studies to ensure that the programme is run efficiently and effectively, you will be:

  • responsible for managing the progression and examination processes for all students on the programme; making sure that they occur in a timely manner and according to all relevant University regulations. 
  • in regular communication with students, you will be a key point of contact for the programme across the University. Our students are usually mid-career professionals with busy full-time careers, who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the programme.
  • part of the wider Doctoral College and will work collaboratively with academic and other professional service colleagues, to support and enhance the experience of all applicants to, and students on, the programme.

About you

The role comprises an exciting mix of both taught and research student administration. Recognising that this mix of experience is rare, we welcome applications from colleagues with a range of different backgrounds (not just from HE), who, whilst may not have direct experience of such programmes, can demonstrate an ability to adapt to new challenges.

About the role

A major focus of the role will be supporting the University’s implementation of the Lifelong Learning Entitlement, translating policy, guidance and technical specifications into effective operational practice. This will involve co-creating processes, advising colleagues, and supporting institutional readiness through changing funding environment.

While SLC and LLE will be your primary areas of focus, you will also contribute to the delivery and quality assurance of wider statutory student data returns, adapting to shifting priorities and regulatory change and supporting colleagues with data interpretation and assurance work.

About you

We are looking for someone who brings practical experience along with specialist knowledge, and who is confident working in a regulated, deadline driven environment.

Experience of supporting regulatory change, contributing to HESA or other statutory returns, or working with emerging funding models would be advantageous, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

In addition, we are preparing to launch a new digital solution that will support the management of export control licences, risk assessments, and a wider range of research-related compliance processes. Together, these systems will enable a more connected, efficient, and user-friendly research governance environment.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:
